Assemble your crew by gathering a 12-person team that understands the assignment. From your group, elect one Squad Leader to serve as the official point of contact for the weekend and complete registration on behalf of your crew. Once the dates are released, secure your yacht and captain to ensure premium access. Your captain and Squad Leader must attend the mandatory Tie-Up safety briefing — no exceptions. Prepare your yacht’s experience with elevated food, water, and drinks, or coordinate with Dockside to manage the details for you. While not required, coordinated, luxury-inspired looks are highly encouraged to elevate the aesthetic. All participating boats must be registered, and the Squad Leader must attend the safety call. Registered boats will receive access to all weekend events through their Squad Leader.

A decade ago, what began as a single boat with a close-knit group of friends celebrating life on Lake Michigan has blossomed into an unparalleled cultural movement. Blvckscene is not just an event; it is the original and most prestigious Black boating weekend, setting the gold standard for community, exclusivity, and luxury.

Every summer, the shimmering Chicago skyline becomes the backdrop to an awe-inspiring spectacle of unity, sophistication, and joy. Over 300 yachts converge, creating a majestic floating festival that is a testament to the brilliance and success of our attendees. In 2025, we welcomed over 5,000 participants, with 700+ domestic and international guests flying in from across the globe to be part of something that transcends an event—a cultural phenomenon.

Blvckscene has organically evolved into a pillar of leadership, drawing trailblazers, visionaries, and tastemakers who gather not just to celebrate, but to connect, network, and share their experiences. It’s a weekend where ambition meets celebration, where meaningful conversations fuel new collaborations, and where turning up with peers who understand the value of success and hard work is as natural as the waves themselves.
